About Afghanistan International Bank
Afghanistan International Bank (AIB) is a Local Bank with strong International and local shareholders headquartered at Kabul, the capital city of Afghanistan. AIB was founded in March 2004 and after three years of its operation could establish its uniqueness in the banking sector of Afghanistan and take part in the economic development of the country. We have our presence in the major cities of Afghanistan through our network of branches; three (03) branches in Kabul (Wazir Akbar Khan Head Office, Makrorayan & Shahr-e-Naw) and one (01) each in Mazar-e-Sharif, Kandahar, Herat and Jalalabad.
Our goal is to build AIB into a Modern Commercial Bank, mirroring International Best Practices. We aim to contribute to the development and prosperity of Afghanistan, which we believe to be an important part of AIB�s social responsibility.
